Pasifiki Trade Fair 2009
The 2011 Pasifiki Trade Fair will take place at Maamaloa Grounds from 15-17 December, 2011 with its theme, “Welcome: Buy Tongan Made.”
The Pasifiki Trade Fair aims to promote trade and marketing opportunities for local producers.
“This year’s fair is timed to capitalise on the huge number of Tongans visiting during Christmas for family and church activities,” said the Chairman Tevita Kaitu’u Fotu.
The Pasifiki Trade Fair was set up in 2000 and is hailed as the most consistent trade fair in the Pacific. It invites participants from the outer islands and from around the region.
Registrations for the Pasifiki Trade Fair closes on the 1st of December.
It is a joint event organised by the Ministry of Labour, Commerce and Industry and the Tonga Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
